This video shows you how to get verified so that you can receive phone calls, schedule video visits and more.

What’s verification?

Telmate Verified is available at certain facilities, and it’s a simple process that you may need to complete in order to receive calls, deposit funds, leave a voicemail or schedule video visits with your loved one.

How do I get started?

There are several ways you can become verified. Using the Getting Out site to make a deposit or schedule a video visit. Using our automated system over the phone. Or by using one of our lobby kiosks at the facility.

What info do I need to provide?

You’ll need to verify who you are by providing information like your date of birth, address, last four digits of your social security number, and more. You’ll also need to confirm that you own your phone by responding to a text or phone call from Telmate. If you’re at the kiosk, you’ll need to scan or swipe your ID and take your photo.

What’s the benefit?

The Telmate Verified program is an important step to help ensure the safety of you and your inmate contact by aiding in the elimination of fraud and extortion. Once you have completed the verification steps, you can receive calls, deposit funds and use all the Telmate features to safely and confidently communicate with your loved one. If you’re at one of our facility kiosks, you can simply swipe your ID to log into your account to schedule visits and more!
